FAQ

What is Post Time?
Post time refers to when the first race is scheduled to start!
Post time on Fridays is 2:15 PM and on Saturdays it is 12:45 PM. Pre-race activities usually start around 30 minutes to post time.

How many Races are there?
The number of races vary between 8-11 on average. To find out how many races there are - please check on the PROGRAM which is free online and comes available about two days prior to each race day. Programs are also available on race days for $2 each from Customer Service, the OTB and the Live Room.

How do I know who is racing?
The drivers and horses are listed in the PROGRAM as well! There are sometimes some changes that happen from when the program is posted and each race day. The changes are posted on our Twitter/X page as well as on our program page.

How do I bet?
Betting on horses is an 18+ activity.
There are several ways to bet on the Live Racing here at Century Downs!
First of all, all wagers are cash only. We have our OTB (Off Track Betting) Lounge at the back of the casino near The Derby restaurant - this is open 7 days a week and shows not only Century Downs racing but races from all over the world!
On race days there are Mutuels Tellers at the Live Room leading to the track, upstairs in the Home Stretch restaurant, and often times outdoors in the Betting Station. Check out these videos for betting tutorials.
Want to wager from home? Find us on HPIbet!

What does it cost?
With the exception of Packwood Grand, admittance to the track is FREE! The outdoor viewing area and Homestretch Restaurant opens one hour prior to post time each racing day.

Can I bring kids?
Although the track is attached to a casino, our horse races are completely family friendly! There are multiple seating options in the outdoor viewing area, and children are permitted upstairs in The Homestretch restaurant as well. Feel free to ask for a complimentary colouring book from a Mutuel Teller or your server!

Please note: seating in the restaurant fill up fast, book through reservations@cnty.com to secure seating.

Where can I park?
All parking is above ground, and there are plenty of spots available on either side of the casino.
