The health and well-being of our horses is always our first priority, and after much consideration from her trainer, and the CHRC team, it has been decided that Texas Alley Kat will be retiring at the age of 7 after a long, successful career.
We are happy to report that Texas is still in good health, and she will be returning to her original home at her breeders where she will be very well taken care of! Overall, Texas won 14 of her 47 career starts, and amassed $94,758 in lifetime earnings. While we did not anticipate that she would be retiring this year, we sincerely hope you have enjoyed cheering on Texas, and we hope you'll join us in wishing her a happy retirement!
