Michael was born, raised, and educated in Winchester, Virginia, where he began playing guitar at the incredibly early age of 7. Most of his early skills were taught to him by his father. His musical career began in church. 

After serving time in the military, Michael began playing and singing in the tri state area about 15 years ago. He has been the front man and lead guitar player for several local bands. 

Michael isn't Limited to just vocals and guitar, he can also play bass, banjo and mandolin and has been known to dabble with keyboards and drums. His newest interest is a Lap steel guitar. 

While he is the self-proclaimed biggest Waylon Jennings fan, his musical influences also include The Venture's, Guns N' Roses, Steve Vai, and Gin Blossoms to name a few. 

You can catch Michael as the lead singer and guitarist for the band Steel Horses. The remainder of his calendar is filled with many acoustic shows.
