Century Casinos opens Casino aboard TUI Cruises ship

Colorado Springs, Colorado, May 25, 2009 - Century Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ Capital Market® and Vienna Stock Exchange: CNTY) announced today that the company has opened the casino aboard the first cruise ship of TUI Cruises on May 23, 2009. This was also the first day of the maiden voyage of the luxurious four-star plus ship with a total of 962 cabins for over 1,900 passengers and 780 crew members. Besides an exquisite lounge and bar area, casino guests can enjoy 31 slot machines and five gambling tables offering American roulette, blackjack and poker.

"Mein Schiff" ("my ship"), which is the name of the vessel, was christened on May 15, 2009 in Hamburg, Germany, by Ina Müller, north German multi-talent and recipient of the German television price 2008 award. Aino Laos, British singer, composer and producer, dedicated the hymn "Ocean of Love" in a world premiere to the vessel. Guests of the christening event included Anna Netrebko, Udo Lindenberg, TUI Cruises CEO Richard Vogel as well as Century Casinos' Co CEOs Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger.

On November 24, 2008, Century Casinos, Inc. entered into an exclusive, long-term agreement with TUI Cruises GmbH, a joint venture between German tour operator TUI AG and the US shipping company Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd., under which Century Casinos will operate the casinos on all cruise ships that TUI Cruises places into service before December 31, 2012. Three ships are planned to go into service until 2012.

Century Casinos has significant experience in the operation of casinos in the luxury cruise ship segment and currently manages the casinos aboard the Silver Cloud, a six-star cruise ship of Silversea Cruises, as well as the casinos on all vessels of Oceania Cruises.
