The restorative powers of our mineral-rich hot springs are legendary and were enjoyed by the original Khoikhoi and San inhabitants of the area.

In 1897 an elegant Victorian Bath House and hotel were erected which soon became a haven to the well-to-do Capetonians of the early 20th century.

Today the fully restored Bath House is a historical monument.

With the 12-metre cascading Khoisan Pools ranging in temperature from 35 to 40 degrees Celcius. The Caledon Mineral Spa has become the place to de-stress, de-tox and de-light!

Hotel guests have free access to The Mineral Spa from 06:00 to 23:00. Day visitors have access to the Mineral Spa from 10:00 to 19:00 at a nominal fee of R100-00 per person. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Mineral Spa without adult supervision.

Please note that the Mineral Spa is closed on Mondays (except when a Monday happens to be a public holiday). The water's high mineral content demands regular cleaning.
